Fairfield Redevelopment

Redevelopment has changed the face of Fairfield. It has helped expand local businesses, encouraged new businesses to move to town, improved affordable housing, and developed public infrastructure. In commercial, industrial, and residential neighborhoods throughout the community, the Agency has worked to improve the city.

Fairfield has five redevelopment project areas: The City Center Project Area is located downtown; the Cordelia Project Area is near I-80 and I-680; the Highway 12 Project Area includes industrial areas and the Auto Mall; the North Texas Street Project Area runs from I-80 to Travis Boulevard; and the Regional Center Project Area includes the Solano Mall area. Please visit the Redevelopment Area Project Map for more information on these areas.
