The City of Fairfield provides year round aquatic opportunities at the Aquatics Complex at Allan Witt Park. Enjoy the warm waters of the indoor facility during the fall, winter and spring. Cool off during the summer by enjoying our activity pool with retractable roof and outdoor amenities including the Big & Little Dipper water slides, Playland Lagoon and Li'l Squirt wet play area

Lifeguard Certification Course

June 22 - 28, 2015

June 22 - 26, 5 - 9p.m &

June 27 - 28, 8a.m. - 5p.m.

Become an American Red Cross certified lifeguard by completing this course. As a certified lifeguard, participants may apply for employment at the aquatics complex.  

  • 40-hour curriculum
  • Lifeguarding skills
  • Title22 first aid
  • CPR/AED/02 for professional rescuer
  • Prerequisites apply:

        º    15 years of age or older

        º    Swim 300 yards without stopping

        º    Tread water for two minutes using legs only

        º    Swim 20 yards, retrieve 10-lb brick from up to 10 ft. of water (timed)

Fitness Spirit at the Aquatics Complex at Allan Witt Park


Catch the 2015 Fitness Spirit at the Aquatics Complex at Allan Witt Park and start your year off in a swimmingly way at your local indoor swim complex located at 1741 W. Texas Street.

  • Aqua Aerobics
  • Water Walkers
  • Lap Swimming 
  • Deep Water Running- a no impact, deep water aqua-aerobics class and
  • Shallow Aqua ROM a slow paced class with range of motion exercises without a cardio element; a perfect class for those who have arthritis, fiber myalgia and other skeletal-muscular disorders.
  • $6 per drop in visit, $40 per month or $50 for ten visit punch pass.

    º    Fitness classes daily 8:00 - 11:15AM; Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 - 11:15AM and Monday-Thursday 5:30 - 7:45PM.
