Required Obligation Payment Schedules (ROPS)

As a result of a  California Supreme Court decision, all redevelopment agencies in California were dissolved on February 1, 2012.  Because of this decision, in 2012, the City Council opted to be the Successor Agency to the Fairfield Redevelopment Agency and for its Housing Authority to act as the Housing Successor to the Fairfield Redevelopment Agency. The Successor Agency is tasked with liquidating the assets of the former Fairfield Redevelopment Agency; paying off the Agency’s debts; and generally winding down the affairs of the former Redevelopment Agency, with certain approval authority vested in the Oversight Board appointed by various entities. The Chair of the Successor Board is Harry Price, and the Vice-Chair is Jim Spering.
