Revenue

The Revenue Division of the Finance Department is responsible for collection of various taxes and fees that are used to pay for City services. Revenues include the funds collected for water service provided by the City-operated Fairfield Municipal Utilities (FMU). The Revenue Division is responsible for reading water meters and processing the bimonthly billing for FMU.

Sign up for new water and sewer services

To sign up for new water and sewer services, come to the cashier window in the lobby of City Hall during normal business hours, 8 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Monday - Thursday.   For all other inquiries regarding water service, please call Customer Service at 707-428-7346 during normal business hours.
