The City of Fairfield Police Department owns and operates a state-of-the-art training facility and indoor rifle and pistol ranges. The 39,000 square foot building houses the following amenities:

  • 20-lane, 25 yard pistol range, which handles .223 rounds. Turning and lateral-moving targets.
  • 6-lane, 100 yard rifle range, which handles .308 rounds. Turning and lateral-moving targets.
  • 3200 square-foot mat room for weaponless defense training OR classroom that seats 75 students (equipped with smart classroom technology)
  • Training classroom that seats 30 students OR mat room for 8 to 10 students (equipped with smart classroom technology)
  • Simulator Training Room with 3 driving simulators and 1 force-options simulator
  • Conference room that seats 20 persons (equipped with smart classroom technology)

Pistol Range $75 / hour
Rifle Range $70 / hour
Mat Room (Classroom Seats 75) $60 / hour
Classroom (Seats 30) $50 / hour
Conference Room $50 / hour
Driving Simulators
Driving Simulators with Operator*
*Required if renting agency does not have a trained operator.

$50 / hour
$100 / hour

Force Option Simulator with Operator*
*FPD Operator always required for use of the F.O.S.
