The City of Fairfield Police Department owns and operates a state-of-the-art training facility and indoor rifle and pistol range. The 39,000 square foot building houses the following amenities:
- 20-lane, 25 yard pistol range, which handles .223 rounds
- 6-lane, 100 yard rifle range, which handles .308 rounds
- 3200 square-foot mat room for weaponless defense training OR classroom that seats 72 students (equipped with smart classroom technology)
- Training classroom that seats 32 students OR mat room for 8 to 10 students (equipped with smart classroom technology)
- Simulator Training Room with 3 Driving Simulators and 1 Force-Options Simulator
- Conference room that seats 20 persons (equipped with smart classroom technology)
