Golf Advisory Board has four seats open. Apply now!

The City of Fairfield is accepting applications for four seats available on the Golf Advisory Board for two year terms beginning January 1, 2020. Mayor Harry Price will appoint the board members with the approval of the City Council.

Applications are available at the City Clerk’s Office at Fairfield City Hall, 1000 Webster Street, 4th floor. Download the application or request one by mail or email by contacting Interim Deputy City Clerk Amber Alexander at (707) 428-7402. Completed applications may be submitted via mail, email, or in person.

The City is not responsible for lost or misdirected applications. Applications received after the deadline, including postmarks, will not be accepted. A timely filed application will remain on file for one year if the applicant is not appointed as a board member. The application deadline is 5 p.m. Wednesday, December 18, 2019.

The Golf Advisory Board is a seven-member board that advises in the promotion and development of golf for all ages in the community at Paradise Valley and Rancho Solano golf courses. The board is scheduled to meet every other month on the second Thursday at 4 p.m.

Additional meetings are scheduled, as required, and these additional meetings are also scheduled on the second Thursday of the month. All applicants must be residents of the city of Fairfield and active participants at Rancho Solano Golf Course and/or Paradise Valley Golf Course.
