The City of Fairfield’s Communications Division received its first gold award at the 41st Annual Telly Awards in May for their “Why I Work Here” video. This is the division’s first gold award since they started submitting video entries in 2000.
The Telly Awards was founded in 1979 to honor excellence in local, regional, and cable television commercials with non-broadcast video and television programming added soon after.
The Telly Awards annually showcases the best work created within television and across video, for all screens. Receiving over 12,000 entries from all 50 states and five continents, Telly Award winners represent work from some of the most respected advertising agencies, television stations, production companies, and publishers from around the world.
In addition to the top prize, Communications also won six Silver and six Bronze awards in several other categories including the People’s Choice Telly for the Solano County Meals on Wheels video. Other winning entries include Fire Recruitment 2019, Let’s Be Prepared, Fairfield!, PAL’s Amazing Shake, and What’s Good – Heretic Brewery.
