The City is seeking comments from residents regarding its application for the Permanent Local Housing Allocation Program. The community has until June 29, 2020 to express concerns and make comments.

Permanent Local Housing Allocation funding will help cities and counties increase the supply of housing for households at or below 60% of area median income, increase assistance to affordable, owner-occupied, workforce housing, and assist persons experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Additionally, PLHA funding facilitates housing affordability, particularly for lower and moderate-income households, promotes projects and programs to meet the local government’s unmet share of regional housing needs allocation, and ensures geographic equity in the distribution of the funds.
Survey responses will be included for City Council’s review during the next City Council meeting, which is scheduled for Tuesday, July 7 at 6 p.m. This meeting will be held at the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District located at 2490 Hilborn Road in Fairfield, CA.
