On March 23,2020, Fairfield and Suisun Transit greatly reduced service and stopped charging fares on local and DART paratransit due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On Monday, July 6, FAST will restore modified fixed route service on all eight local routes and will again provide limited Saturday service. DART paratransit service will also be available Monday-Saturday within Fairfield and Suisun City to eligible certified passengers. Fares will continue to be free on FAST local and DART paratransit until September 1, 2020.
Passenger safety during this pandemic is of utmost importance as FAST restores transit services. To ensure safe and convenient travel, FAST will continue using enhanced bus cleaning methods and protocols recommended by the Center for Disease Control. All riders are required to wear face coverings and maintain six feet social distancing while waiting at bus stops and while onboard buses and DART vehicles.
