On Monday, May 18, 2020, Fairfield City Hall will be reopening to the public.   The Planning Division public counter will reopen at this time.   If you have business that you would like to conduct at our public counter, you are welcome to do so.  For everyone's protection, Social Distancing provisions will be in place, and the public will be required to wear a mask when visiting City Hall.  

Because the COVID-19 crisis is not over, we encourage you to consider remote alternatives for conducting business with us.  The Planning Division main phone line: (707) 428-7461 and email: planning@fairfield.ca.gov are available for remote communication.

During this period, we will be accepting all planning permit applications in person, or by US Mail or other delivery such as FedEx or UPS.  To ensure that applications submitted via delivery are complete and the correct application amount is provided, we strongly recommend (but do not require) that applicants have a phone consultation with a planner first.   To request a phone consult, please call the Planning Division phone line above.
