Plans check fees are payable upon submission of plans. At the time of building permit issuance, the remainder of the building permit fees are due. You will be contacted when your permits are ready and given a fee breakdown at that time. You have six months after notification that your permits are ready to pay your fees.

Notice of Public Hearing: Proposed Building Fee Schedule Update

The City of Fairfield is proposing to update its Building Division User Fee schedule. In accordance with Government Code Section 66016(a), the fee study supporting the proposed fees has been made available for public review at least 10 days prior to the public hearing.

Public Hearing Date: April 7, 2026

Time: 6:00 p.m.

Location: City Council Chambers, 1000 Webster Street, Fairfield, CA

 

2026 Building Division User Fee Study

The fee study is also available for in-person review at the City Clerk's Office, City Hall, 1000 Webster Street, Fairfield, CA, during regular business hours.
