Job Fair Support for Anheuser-Busch Employees

On January 29, City staff proudly partnered with the Solano Workforce Development Board at a targeted job fair supporting employees affected by the Anheuser-Busch plant closure.
Our team went beyond the call of duty distributing flyers, meeting one-on-one with attendees to help translate their industrial experience into local government opportunities. The event served approximately 130 participants, providing hands-on guidance with our applicant tracking system and personalized advice on aligning industrial skills with City positions that match their interests and qualifications.
We are grateful to collaborate with regional partners to support these skilled workers as they transition to their next career chapter. By demystifying the government hiring process, we’re working to help keep our workforce resilient, employed, and local!
