Fairfield BUILD (BUILD) is the City’s new online permitting system, replacing our former system, TRAKiT. BUILD provides a more efficient, accessible, and user-friendly experience for applying for permits, plans, and scheduling inspections for various departments including Building, Planning, Fire, and Public Works—all in one convenient place.

Follow these easy steps to get started using BUILD Online!

1.   ACCESS BUILD

 Click here or on the "Click here to get started" image above.

2.  LOGIN OR CREATE YOUR ACCOUNT

If you have used EnerGov/Civic Access with a different jurisdiction, please use the same email address when registering for your City of Fairfield BUILD account.

For instructions on how to create an account, please view the Get Started Now Resource (starting at page 3).

3.  START YOUR APPLICATION OR REQUEST

Apply for your permit, submit plans, pay invoices and/or request an inspection —all through BUILD Online.
