The City of Fairfield offers complimentary, comprehensive support for new, existing, and prospective small businesses at every stage of development.
Through our partnership with the Solano-Napa Small Business Development Center (SBDC), located right here in Fairfield (500 Chadbourne Rd), entrepreneurs can access personalized advising, growth strategies, funding opportunities, and connections to key business resources.
In addition to these technical support services, the City also helps businesses shine by creating custom marketing campaigns, professional promotional materials, and community events—from small community events to large-scale celebrations—that showcase our amazing small businesses, increase their visibility and drive increased revenue.
This individualized assistance, combined with the City’s broader business support programs, ensures Fairfield small businesses have the tools to start strong, grow steadily, and thrive long-term.
The City encourages everyone to shop local to keep our tax dollars in our community. To support this we are featuring small, local businesses in a weekly video campaign.
The campaign, “The Buck Stops Here – Shop Small, Shop Local”, features videos of locally-owned and operated businesses. The videos highlight the unique features of each business and the important role each one plays in stimulating Fairfield’s economy. Store and restaurant sales generate sales tax, which the City reinvests in the community.
Below you can see the businesses featured to-date. If you are a small Fairfield business and would like to be featured in this campaign, please contact Marketing & Outreach Division Manager, Bill Way at wway@fairfield.ca.gov.
