The Fairfield Police Department's Summer Youth Academy is a week-long program offered to FSUSD, TSUD, and residents of Fairfield who are homeschooled between the ages of 12-16 years who have an interest in learning about Law Enforcement. 

This unique opportunity provides students with a greater understanding of the inner workings of a police department, as well as procedures, as taught by the Law Enforcement professionals themselves. The purpose of the academy is to provide our youth with an opportunity to spend a week gaining insight into the jobs offered through the Fairfield Police Department, and to engage with their peers through team building skills, communication and critical thinking exercises. 

We would like to thank our community for continued support and participation in our past Youth Academy Program.  Due to insufficient staffing, we will not be holding Youth Academy for 2026.  Stay tuned for updates.
