Who is eligible for automatic refunds?
Only property owners in LLMD Nos. 1, 3, 6, 7, 8, 11, 12, and 13 are eligible for automatic refunds for assessments paid for tax years 2022-2023 through 2025-2026.
How are the automatic refunds calculated?
Automatic refunds are calculated by subtracting the assessment rate established in 1996 from the rates assessed during the following tax years:
-
2022-2023
-
2023-2024
-
2024-2025
-
2025-2026
How will I receive my automatic refund?
The City will issue physical checks to the property owner listed on the Solano County tax rolls for each fiscal year.
Do I need to submit a claim for the automatic refund?
No. Refunds will be issued automatically to current property owners.
What if I moved?
You must submit a claim below to verify your identity and new mailing address.
Why am I not receiving an automatic refund for the full assessment?
The automatic refund of the rate difference complies with the court ruling, as property owners continued to receive maintenance services during these years. However, you may submit a claim for the full assessment amount paid for tax years 2023-2024 through 2025-2026.
-

- Automatic refunds to property owners of parcels that have not been subject to a change of ownership during the eligible tax years (approximately 70% of eligible parcels) were issued on July 29, 2026.
