Proposals Sought for Housing Projects for Special Populations

Fairfield Housing Authority is requesting proposals from qualified real property owners for projects that will provide housing within the city to individuals that are elderly, near elderly, and/or disabled and receiving supportive services. Units may be selected in a new construction project, a rehabilitation project, and/or an existing project.

This RFP is funded through Fairfield Housing Authority’s annual budget for the federally funded Housing Choice Voucher program. The competitive scores of respondents to this RFP will be used to award up to ten Project-Based Vouchers to eligible projects.  It is the intent of the Authority to award these vouchers to the highest scoring projects based on the scoring criteria set forth in the RFP.

All proposals will be evaluated on scoring criteria developed by the Authority. The scoring criteria and other information regarding the RFP and the application process, is available from the Authority’s website.
