Community Ofrenda & Candlelight Vigil
The City of Fairfield invites the community to come together in remembrance and celebration during this year’s Día de los Muertos observance. Inspired and championed by Councilmember Doriss Panduro and presented in partnership with Solano Community College and the Solano Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, we are proud to host a heartfelt evening of reflection.
When: Thursday, October 30, 2025
Where: Fairfield Community Center & City Hall Pond (1000 Kentucky Street, Fairfield)
This free, family-friendly event will feature a Community Ofrenda (altar), traditional music, Pan de Muerto, and a candlelight walk to honor the memory of departed loved ones.
Schedule of Events:
- 6:00 PM – Community Ofrenda on display (Community Center Lobby)
- 7:00 PM – Candlelight walk around the pond
- 8:00 PM – Event concludes
The Ofrenda will remain on display through November 3, giving community members additional time to visit and contribute.
We welcome all attendees to bring a photo or small memento to add to the altar. Whether you're honoring a family member, friend, or community figure, your presence and remembrance matter.
Let’s come together as families, friends, and neighbors to honor our loved ones and celebrate life, tradition, and connection.
